Bearded dragons can be the best choice for people who love reptiles. No matter if you stay alone you have kids, these bearded dragons can be your fun companions but also it is important to take a lot of care of them. You have to be very of taking care of them properly before you buy them. If you are keen to buy them and love replies there are some key tips that you need to follow in order to take care of them properly.

1. One of the most common symptoms is shedding of bearded dragon which occurs due to enlargement or growth, so you need to panic when you see it. It’s a natural process that would occur more often when it's a baby. Beardie is expected to shed a lot of times especially in the first year because that’s the time when they grow the maximum. The frequency of its enlargement depends on its growth rate and growth spurts.

2. If you witness that the skin of your dragon is going dull, don’t stress yourself. It is a very common sign and symptom of beginning the shedding process that is important for its growth.

3. In the first year, when the dragon is shedding the maximum make sure you keep him hydrated all the time. If you keep giving him regular baths on regular basis it will make certain that the shedding course will be done as quickly as possible.

4. During their process of skin shedding, bearded dragons tend to lose curiosity in eating or it is also possible that they will stop eating on the whole. But you don’t need to worry about because it is a natural process in which dragon uses more energy for shedding rather than using it in indigestion. If you want your dragon to eat properly make sure that you get misting and bathing done on regular basis.

5. You may notice stuffed eye if your dragon but that is a common symptom during the shedding course although it can look really weird and upsetting. It is very common for bearded dragon to this because it helps them to stretch the skin round the eyes to loosen it. However, if they continue to do it for few days, it could be a sign of high blood pressure so make sure you keep an eye on them.
